Section 1 Citation

This Order may be cited as the Welfare Reform Act 2009 (Commencement No. 6) Order 2011.

Section 2 Appointed day

29th November 2011 is the day appointed for the coming into force of the following provisions of the Welfare Reform Act 2009—

(a) section 12(5) (conditions for contributory jobseeker’s allowance), in so far as it inserts subsections (3B)(a) and (3C) only into section 2 of the Jobseekers Act 1995 ; and

(b) section 13(5)(a) and (b) (conditions for contributory employment and support allowance).
