Section 1Citation and commencement
These Regulations may be cited as the Childcare (Inspections) (Amendment and Revocation) Regulations 2012 and come into force on 1st August 2012.

Section 2Amendments to the Childcare (Inspections) Regulations 2008
(1) The Childcare (Inspections) Regulations 2008 are amended as follows.
(2) In regulation 2 omit all the definitions except the definition of “parent”.
(3) Omit regulations 3 to 11 and 14.
(4) In regulation 15 omit paragraph (b) and the “and” before it.
(5) In regulation 16 omit paragraph (b) and the “and” before it.
(6) Omit regulation 17.
Section 3Revocation
The Childcare (Inspections) (Amendment) Regulations 2009 are revoked.
