Section 1 Citation

This Order may be cited as the Treaty of Lisbon (Changes in Terminology or Numbering) Order 2012.

Section 2 Commencement

(1) This Order comes into force on 1st August 2012.

(2) The amendments made by this Order do not affect any provision in its application to things done before 1st December 2009 (the date on which the Treaty of Lisbon came into force).

Section 3 Changes in terminology or numbering

(1) In each of the provisions specified in the Tables in Parts 1 to 3 of the Schedule, for the words specified in the third column there are substituted the words specified in the fourth column.

(2) In each of the provisions specified in the Table in Part 4 of the Schedule, for the words specified in the third or fourth column there are substituted respectively the words specified in the fifth or sixth column.
