Section 1 Citation, commencement and interpretation

(1) This Order may be cited as the Settlement Agreements (Automatic Enrolment) (Description of Person) Order 2012 and comes into force on 1st July 2012.

(2) In this Order—

“regulatory arrangements” has the same meaning as in section 21 of the Legal Services Act 2007 ;

“ ILEX ” means the Institute of Legal Executives.

Section 2 Person specified

A person authorised by ILEX to practise as a legal executive who is practising subject to the regulatory arrangements of ILEX is specified for the purposes of section 58(5)(c) of the Pensions Act 2008.
