Section 1 Citation and interpretation

(1) This Order may be cited as the Marine Navigation Act 2013 (Commencement) Order 2013.

(2) In this Order “ the Act ” means the Marine Navigation Act 2013.

Section 2 Commencement of provisions on 26th June 2013

26th June 2013 is the appointed day for the coming into force of sections 7 to 11 of the Act.

Section 3 Commencement of provisions on 1st October 2013

(1) 1st October 2013 is the appointed day for the coming into force of sections 1 to 6 of the Act, subject to paragraphs (2) and (3).

(2) On the appointed day sections 5 and 6 do not come into force in relation to fishery harbours in Wales .

(3) On the appointed day sections 1 to 6 do not come into force in Scotland .
