Section 1 Citation and commencement

(1) This Order may be cited as the Coroners and Justice Act 2009 (Alteration of Coroner Areas) Order 2013.

Section 2 Citation and commencement

This Order comes into force on the 26th July 2013.

Section 3 Interpretation

In this Order—

“coroner area” means a coroner area constituted by the Coroners and Justice Act 2009 (Coroner Areas and Assistant Coroners) Transitional Order 2013 ;

“altered coroner area” means a new coroner area resulting from the amalgamation of coroner areas as set out in this Order.

Section 4 Altered coroner areas

Coroner areas listed in the first column of the table in the Schedule to this Order shall be amalgamated into the single coroner area listed in the corresponding entry in the second column.
