Section 1 Citation and commencement

This Order may be cited as the Enterprise and Regulatory Reform Act 2013 (Health and Safety) (Consequential Amendments) Order 2013 and comes into force on 1st October 2013.

Section 2 Amendment of the Railway Safety (Miscellaneous Provisions) Regulations 1997

In the Railway Safety (Miscellaneous Provisions) Regulations 1997 omit regulation 3(4).

Section 3 Amendment of the Genetically Modified Organisms (Contained Use) Regulations 2000

The Genetically Modified Organisms (Contained Use) Regulations 2000 are amended as follows—

(a) in the cross heading for regulation 26 omit “and civil liability”, and

(b) in regulation 26(1)(a)—

(i) after “enforcement)” omit the comma and insert “and”, and

(ii) omit “and section 47 (civil liability)”.

Section 4 Amendment of the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2007

In the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2007 omit regulation 45.

Section 5 Amendment of the Chemicals (Hazard Information and Packaging for Supply) Regulations 2009

Regulation 14(1) of the Chemicals (Hazard Information and Packaging for Supply) Regulations 2009 is amended as follows—

(a) at the end of sub-paragraph (a) insert “and”,

(b) in sub-paragraph (b) omit “; and” and insert a comma, and

(c) omit sub-paragraph (c).
