Section 1Citation and commencement

These Regulations may be cited as the Apprenticeships (Alternative English Completion Conditions) (Amendment) Regulations 2013 and come into force on the day after the day on which the Regulations are made.

Section 2Amendment of the Apprenticeships (Alternative English Completion Conditions) Regulations 2012

In the table in Schedule 1 to the Apprenticeships (Alternative English Completion Conditions) Regulations 2012 , after the last row insert—
Merchant Navy (deck)
Merchant Navy (engineering)
Officer of the watch on merchant vessels of less than 500 gross tonnage (near coastal) including tugs
Officer of the watch on merchant vessels of less than 3,000 gross tonnage (near coastal) including tugs
