Section 1 Citation, commencement and interpretation

(1) This Order may be cited as the Parliamentary Commissioner Order 2013 and comes into force on 1st April 2013.

(2) In this Order “ the Act ” means the Parliamentary Commissioner Act 1967.

Section 2 Amendment to Schedule 2 to the Act

In Schedule 2 to the Act (departments etc. subject to investigation)—

(a) insert at the appropriate place—

Section 3 Amendment to Schedule 3 to the Act

In Schedule 3 to the Act (matters not subject to investigation) insert after paragraph 10(1)—

(1A) Sub-paragraph (1)(a) shall not apply to any action (not otherwise excluded from investigation by this Schedule) which is taken by the Secretary of State in connection with the provision of any allowance, grant, supplement or benefit under—

(a) the Naval, Military and Air Forces etc. (Disablement and Death) Service Pensions Order 2006 ( S.I.2006/606 ); or

(b) the Armed Forces and Reserve Forces (Compensation Scheme) Order 2011 ( S.I. 2011/517 ).
