Section 1 Citation and interpretation

This order may be cited as the Armed Forces Act 2011 (Commencement No. 4) Order 2013.

Section 2 Citation and interpretation

In this Order “ the Act ” means the Armed Forces Act 2011.

Section 3 Commencement

The following provisions of the Act shall come into force on 1st November 2013—

(a) section 9;

(b) sections 10 and 11 so far as not already in force;

(c) section 16(1);

(d) section 30(1) so far as is necessary to bring into force paragraphs 3(1), (2) and (4), 4, 8, 10, 11, 12 and 13 of Schedule 4;

(e) section 30(2) so far as is necessary to bring into force the entries in Schedule 5 relating to sections 305, 306, 307 and 308 of the Armed Forces Act 2006 .
