Section 1Citation, commencement and application

(1) This Order may be cited as the Local Authority (Referendums Relating to Council Tax Increases) (Date of Referendum) (England) Order 2013 and comes into force on 6th December 2013.

(2) This Order applies in relation to England and the financial year beginning on 1st April 2014 only.

Section 2Specified date for council tax referendums

The date specified for the purposes of sections 52ZG(3)(b), 52ZN(2)(b) and (4)(b) is 22 May 2014.
