Section 1 Citation, commencement and extent

(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Motor Vehicles (Third Party Risks) (Amendment) Regulations 2013 and come into force on 16th December 2013.

(2) These Regulations extend to Great Britain .

Section 2 Amendment to the Motor Vehicles (Third Party Risks) Regulations 1972

Regulation 9 (production of evidence of insurance or security on application for excise licences) of the Motor Vehicles (Third Party Risks) Regulations 1972 is omitted.

Section 3 Amendment to the Motor Vehicles (International Motor Insurance Card) Regulations 1971

Regulation 8 (production of insurance card on application for excise licence) of the Motor Vehicles (International Motor Insurance Card) Regulations 1971 is omitted.
