Section 1Citation and commencement

This Order may be cited as the Health Professions Council (Constitution) (Amendment) Order 2013 and comes into force on 1st January 2014.

Section 2Amendment of the Health Professions Council (Constitution) Order 2009

(1) The Health Professions Council (Constitution) Order 2009 is amended as follows.
(2) For the title to the Order, substitute “Health and Care Professions Council (Constitution) Order 2009”.
(3) In article 1(1) (citation, commencement and interpretation), for “the Health Professions Council (Constitution) Order 2009” substitute “the Health and Care Professions Council (Constitution) Order 2009”.
(4) In article 2 (composition of the Council), for “10” (twice) substitute “6”.
(5) In article 10 (quorum of the Council), for “11” substitute “7”.
