Section 1 Citation and commencement

These Regulations may be cited as the Education (Pupil Information and School Performance Information) (Miscellaneous Amendments) (England) Regulations 2013 and come into force on 12th February 2014.

Section 2 Amendments to the Education (Pupil Information) (England) Regulations 2005

The Education (Pupil Information) (England) Regulations 2005 are amended as follows.

Section 3 Amendments to the Education (Pupil Information) (England) Regulations 2005

Schedule 1 is amended as follows—

(a) In paragraph 2—

(i) in sub-paragraph (1)(a) for the words “at the end of the first, second and third key stages” substitute “at the end of the first and second key stages”;

(ii) in sub-paragraph (1)(d) for the words “at the end of the second and third key stages” substitute “at the end of the second key stage”; and

(iii) omit sub-paragraph (3).

(b) In paragraph 3 in the definition of “brief commentary” for the words “second and third key stages” substitute “second key stage”.

Section 4 Amendments to the Education (Pupil Information) (England) Regulations 2005

In paragraph 6(3) of Schedule 2 omit the words “or a foundation subject at the third key stage”.

Section 5 Amendments to the Education (School Performance Information) (England) Regulations 2007

The Education (School Performance Information) (England) Regulations 2007 are amended as follows.

Section 6 Amendments to the Education (School Performance Information) (England) Regulations 2007

In Regulation 12ZA—

(a) in the heading, omit the words “and third”; and

(b) omit paragraph 2.

In Schedule 8 omit Part 2.
