(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Infrastructure Planning (Business or Commercial Projects) Regulations 2013 and come into force on the day after the day on which they are made.
(2) In these Regulations—
“industrial process” means a process for or incidental to any of the following purposes, in the course of any trade or business—
the making of any article or part of any article;
the altering, repairing, maintaining, ornamenting, finishing, cleaning, washing, packing, canning, adapting for sale, breaking up or demolition of any article; or
the getting, dressing or treatment of minerals;
“minerals” has the same meaning as in the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 (see section 336(1) of that Act).
