The Trade Marks (International Registration) (Amendment) Order 2013
The Trade Marks (International Registration) Order 2008 is amended as follows.
(1) Schedule 2 (which sets out modifications to provisions of the Trade Marks Act 1994 which apply to International Trade Marks ( UK )) is amended as follows.
(2) In paragraph 6 (which inserts section 38A into the Trade Marks Act 1994), in the text of section 38A(5) set out in that paragraph, for “beginning with” substitute “beginning immediately after”.
In Schedule 3, paragraphs 2(6) and 3(3), for “beginning with” substitute “beginning immediately after”.
In Schedule 4, paragraph 1(4), for “beginning with” substitute “beginning immediately after”.
Where immediately before this Order comes into force, any period of time prescribed by the provisions referred to in this Order has effect in relation to any act or proceeding and has not expired, those provisions as amended by this Order shall apply in determining the expiry of that period.
