Section 1Citation and commencement

(1) This Order may be cited as the Damages for Bereavement (Variation of Sum) (England and Wales) Order 2013 and comes into force on 1 April 2013.

(2) This Order applies only to causes of action which accrue on or after 1 April 2013.

Section 2Variation of sum

In section 1A(3) of the Fatal Accidents Act 1976, for “£11,800” substitute “£12,980”.
