Section 1Citation, commencement and interpretation

(1) This Order may be cited as the Mid Staffordshire NHS Foundation Trust (Appointment of Trust Special Administrators) Order 2013 and comes into force on 16th April 2013.

(2) In this Order, “the trust” means the Mid Staffordshire NHS Foundation Trust .

Section 2Appointment of trust special administrators

(1) Three trust special administrators are authorised to be appointed to exercise the functions of the governors, chairman and directors of the trust.

(2) The appointment of the trust special administrators appointed to the trust pursuant to paragraph (1) takes effect on 16th April 2013.
