Section 1Citation and interpretation

(1) This Order may be cited as the Energy Act 2008 (Commencement No. 6) Order 2014.

(2) In this Order, “ the Act ” means the Energy Act 2008.

Section 2Commencement

The following provisions of the Act come into force on 10th June 2014—
(a) for all remaining purposes, section 44(3) (offshore electricity transmission); and
(b) section 108 and Schedule 6 (repeals) so far as they repeal section 180(2) (meaning of ‘high voltage line’) of the Energy Act 2004 .
