These Regulations may be cited as the National Curriculum (Exceptions for First, Second, Third and Fourth Key Stages) (England)(Amendment) Regulations 2014 and come into force on 1st September 2014.

The National Curriculum (Exceptions for First, Second, Third and Fourth Key Stages) (England) Regulations 2013 are amended as follows.
Section 3Amendments to the National Curriculum (Exceptions for First, Second, Third and Fourth Key Stages) (England) Regulations 2013
After Regulation 2(3) insert—
(4) The programmes of study specified in relation to English and mathematics for the fourth key stage do not apply in relation to any pupil in the final year of the fourth key stage during the school year 2015 to 2016.
