Section 1 Citation and commencement

These Regulations may be cited as the Road Vehicles (Registration and Licensing) (Amendment) Regulations 2014 and come into force on 1st October 2014.

Section 2 Amendment of Regulations

The Road Vehicles (Registration and Licensing) Regulations 2002 are amended as follows.

Section 3 Amendments to Schedule 2 (Reduced pollution certificates and the reduced pollution requirements)

In paragraph 13 (prescribed fees) of Schedule 2—

(1) In sub-paragraph (1), for “sub-paragraph (2)” substitute “sub-paragraphs (2), (3) and (3A)”.

(2) In sub-paragraph (1)(a), for “£34” substitute “£42”.

(3) In sub-paragraph (1)(b), for “£20” substitute “£25”.

(4) In sub-paragraph (3)—

(a) for “£2” substitute “£12”; and

(b) for “£1” substitute “£7”.

(5) After sub-paragraph (3), insert—

(3A) In the case of an examination carried out in Northern Ireland the fee payable under sub-paragraph (1)(a) shall be reduced by £8, and the fee payable under sub-paragraph (1)(b) shall be reduced by £5.
