Section 2Appointed date
The date appointed for the coming into force of the following provisions of the Borders, Citizenship and Immigration Act 2009 is 27th October 2014—
(a) section 41(5), insofar as it inserts subsection (8)(b) into section 41 of the British Nationality Act 1981 , excepting the words “(bc), (bd) or (be)”; and
(b) section 52 (extension of sections 1 to 4 of the UK Borders Act 2007 to Scotland).
