Section 1 Citation and commencement

(1) This Order may be cited as the Civil Enforcement of Parking Contraventions Designation Order 2014.

(2) Articles 1, 2 and 3 come into force on 29th December 2014.

(3) Article 4 comes into force on 19th January 2015.

Section 2 Revocation of previous orders

The Road Traffic (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (County of Cambridgeshire) (City of Cambridge) Order 2004 is revoked.

Section 3 Designation of civil enforcement areas and special enforcement areas under the Traffic Management Act 2004

(1) The Secretary of State designates those parts of the area of The Cambridgeshire County Council described in paragraph (2) as—

(a) a civil enforcement area for parking contraventions; and

(b) a special enforcement area.

(2) The parts referred to in paragraph (1) are those parts of the city of Cambridge, the district of South Cambridgeshire and the district of Huntingdonshire as specified in Schedule 1.

Section 4 Designation of civil enforcement areas and special enforcement areas under the Traffic Management Act 2004

The Secretary of State designates the part of the area of Knowsley Metropolitan Borough Council specified in Schedule 2 as—

(a) a civil enforcement area for parking contraventions; and

(b) a special enforcement area.
