Section 1Citation and commencement

These Regulations may be cited as the Child Poverty Act 2010 (Persistent Poverty Target) Regulations 2014 and come into force on 31st December 2014.

Section 2Persistent poverty target percentage

For the purposes of section 6(3) of the Child Poverty Act 2010 (which allows the target to be prescribed by regulations) the target percentage is 7%.
