Section 1 Citation and Commencement

These Regulations may be cited as the National Curriculum (Exceptions for First, Second, Third and Fourth Key Stages) (England) (Amendment) (No. 2) Regulations 2014 and come into force on 1st September 2015.

Section 2 Amendment to the National Curriculum (Exceptions for First, Second, Third and Fourth Key Stages) (England) Regulations 2013

After regulation 2(4) of the National Curriculum (Exceptions for First, Second, Third and Fourth Key Stages)(England) Regulations 2013 insert—

(5) The programme of study specified in relation to science for the fourth key stage does not apply in relation to—

(a) any pupil during the school year 2015 to 2016; or

(b) any pupil in the final year of the fourth key stage during the school year 2016 to 2017.
