Section 1 Citation

This Order may be cited as the Designation of Schools Having a Religious Character (Independent Schools) (England) (No.3) Order 2014.

Section 2 Interpretation

In this Order “the relevant religion” means the religion in accordance with whose tenets education is provided at the school or the school is conducted.

Section 3 Designation of schools

(1) The schools listed in column (1) of Schedule 1 are designated as schools having a religious character.

(2) The relevant religion in relation to a school listed in column (1) of Schedule 1 is specified in relation to that school in column (2).

Section 4 Revocations

The instruments listed in column (1) of Schedule 2 (which have the reference listed in column (2)) are revoked to the extent indicated in column (3).

Section 5 Amendment

For “Canary Wharf College 2” in Schedule 1 of the Designation of Schools Having a Religious Character (Independent Schools) (England) (No. 2) Order 2014 substitute “Canary Wharf College 2, E14 3EB”.
