Section 1 Citation, commencement and interpretation

(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Gas Transit (EEC Requirements) (Revocation and Saving) Regulations 2014 and come into force on 6th April 2014.

(2) In these Regulations—

“the 1992 Regulations ” means the Gas Transit (EEC Requirements) Regulations 1992 ;

“gas transit contract” means a contract within the meaning given by the 1992 Regulations, which was concluded pursuant to those Regulations.

Section 2 Revocation

Subject to regulation 3, the 1992 Regulations are revoked.

Section 3 Saving

Regulations 1, 2, 5 and 6 of the 1992 Regulations continue to have effect in relation to any gas transit contract which is still in force.
