Section 1Citation and commencement

These Regulations may be cited as the School Staffing (England) (Amendment) Regulations 2014 and come into force on 1 st September 2014.

Section 2Amendment of the School Staffing (England) Regulations 2009

(1) The School Staffing (England) Regulations 2009 are amended as follows.

(2) In regulation 3(1) (Interpretation), in the definition of “safer recruitment training”, omit the words “by a person approved by the Secretary of State” and after “safeguard” insert “and promote the welfare of”.
