Section 1 Citation, commencement and application

(1) This Order may be cited as the Local Government (Transparency) (Descriptions of Information) (England) Order 2014 and comes into force on the day after the day on which it is approved by resolution of the second House of Parliament to approve it.

(2) This Order applies in relation to authorities in England only.

Section 2 Information to which section 3(4) of the Local Government, Planning and Land Act 1980 applies

Section 3(4) of the Local Government, Planning and Land Act 1980 shall apply to the following descriptions of information—

(a) information about any expenditure incurred by authorities; and

(b) information about any legally enforceable agreement entered into by authorities and any invitations to tender for such agreements.
