Section 1 Citation

This Order may be cited as the Pensions Act 2014 (Commencement No.4) Order 2015.

Section 2 Commencement of provisions

(1) 5th February 2015 is the day appointed for the coming into force of the provisions of the Pensions Act 2014 listed in paragraph (4) for the purposes of making regulations.

(2) 23rd February 2015 is the day appointed for the coming into force of section 24(2) to (9) of, and Schedule 14 to, the Pensions Act 2014.

(3) 1st October 2015 is the day appointed for the coming into force of section 36 of the Pensions Act 2014.

(4) The provisions of the Pensions Act 2014 mentioned in paragraph (1) are—

(a) section 2(3);

(b) section 4(2);

(c) section 8(3), (7) and (8);

(d) section 16(1) and (6);

(e) section 17(4) and (5);

(f) section 18(1);

(g) section 19(1) and (3);

(h) section 22(1);

(i) paragraph 4 of Schedule 8 and section 13(2) in so far as it relates to that paragraph;

(j) paragraph 4 of Schedule 10 and section 14(2) in so far as it relates to that paragraph; and

(k) paragraph 11 of Schedule 11 and section 15 in so far as it relates to that paragraph.
