Section 1Citation and commencement

(1) This Order may be cited as the Protection of Freedoms Act 2012 (Destruction, Retention and Use of Biometric Data) (Transitional, Transitory and Saving Provisions) (Amendment) Order 2015.

(2) This Order shall come into force on 31st October 2015.

Section 2Amendment of the Protection of Freedoms Act 2012 (Destruction, Retention and Use of Biometric Data) (Transitional, Transitory and Saving Provisions) Order 2013

The Protection of Freedoms Act 2012 (Destruction, Retention and Use of Biometric Data) (Transitional, Transitory and Saving Provisions) Order 2013 is amended as follows.

Section 3Amendment of the Protection of Freedoms Act 2012 (Destruction, Retention and Use of Biometric Data) (Transitional, Transitory and Saving Provisions) Order 2013

In each of articles 6 and 7, for the references to “31st October 2015” substitute “31st October 2016”.
