Section 1 Citation and commencement

These Regulations may be cited as the Local Government (Transparency Requirements) (England) Regulations 2015 and shall come into force on 1st April 2015.

Section 2 Requirement to publish information

(1) An authority to which the Code applies, other than a parish council whose gross annual income or expenditure (whichever is the higher) is £6.5 million or less, must publish the information specified in Part 2 of the Code in the manner and form and on the occasions specified in Part 2 of the Code.

(2) In this regulation, “the Code” means the Local Government Transparency Code 2015, issued on 27th February 2015 by the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government .

Section 3 Revocation

The Local Government (Transparency Requirements) (England) Regulations 2014 are revoked.
