Section 1 Title and commencement

(1) This Order may be cited as the Public Bodies (Abolition of the Advisory Committees on Pesticides) Order 2015.

(2) It comes into force on the day after the day on which it is made, except as provided by paragraph (3) .

(3) The entry for the Public Bodies Act 2011 in the table of repeals in Part 1 of the Schedule, and article 3 so far as relating to that entry, come into force on the second day after the day on which the Order is made.

Section 2 Abolition of advisory committees

The following bodies established under section 16(7) of the Food and Environment Protection Act 1985 are abolished—

(a) the Advisory Committee on Pesticides ; and

(b) the Advisory Committee on Pesticides for Northern Ireland .

Section 3 Repeals and revocations

The Schedule (repeals and revocations) has effect.
