Section 1 Citation and commencement

(1) This Order may be cited as the Kettering (Electoral Changes) Order 2016.

(2) This Order comes into force—

(a) for the purpose of proceedings preliminary or relating to the election of councillors, on the day after it is made;

(b) for all other purposes, on the ordinary day of election of councillors in 2017.

Section 2 Interpretation

In this Order—

“the 2015 Order ” means The Kettering Borough Council (Reorganisation of Community Governance) Order 2015 ;

“electoral division” means a division established by article 3 of The Northamptonshire (Electoral Changes) Order 2013 .

Section 3 Related alterations electoral division boundaries

The area that ceases to be part of the parish of Wilbarston and becomes part of the parish of Rushton in consequence of the 2015 Order ceases to be part of Desborough electoral division and becomes part of Rothwell and Mawsley electoral division.
