Section 1 Citation and commencement

These Regulations may be cited as the National Minimum Wage (Amendment) Regulations 2017 and come into force on 1st April 2017.

Section 2 Amendments to the National Minimum Wage Regulations 2015

(1) The National Minimum Wage Regulations 2015 are amended as follows.

(2) In regulation 4 (the national living wage) for “£7.20” substitute “£7.50”.

(3) In regulation 4A(1) (workers who qualify for the national minimum wage at a different rate)—

(a) for “£6.95” substitute “£7.05”;

(b) for “£5.55” substitute “£5.60”;

(c) for “£4.00” substitute “£4.05”;

(d) for “£3.40” substitute “£3.50”.

(4) In regulation 16(1) (amount for provision of living accommodation) for “£6.00” substitute “£6.40”.
