Section 1Citation and commencement
These Regulations may be cited as the Merchant Shipping (Light Dues) (Amendment) Regulations 2017 and come into force on 1st May 2017.

Section 2Amendment to the Merchant Shipping (Light Dues) Regulations 1997
In paragraph 3(1A) of Part II (scale of payments) of Schedule 2 to the Merchant Shipping (Light Dues) Regulations 1997 —
(a) in paragraph (e) , after “2016” insert “and before 1st May 2017”; and
(b) at the end of paragraph (e), insert—
(f) on or after 1st May 2017, 37 and a half pence per ton subject to a maximum charge of £15,000 per voyage
