Section 1 Citation and commencement

This Order may be cited as the South Tees Development Corporation (Establishment) Order 2017 and comes into force on 1st August 2017.

Section 2 Mayoral Development Area

(1) The Mayoral development area is the area of land shown bounded externally by the inside edge of the black line on the map.

(2) In paragraph (1), “the map” means the map marked “Map referred to in the South Tees Development Corporation (Establishment) Order 2017” of which prints signed by a Deputy Director in the Department for Communities and Local Government have been deposited, and are available for inspection, at the offices of the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government and at the offices of the Combined Authority.

Section 3 Establishment and naming of the South Tees Development Corporation

There is established a corporation for the Mayoral development area named the “South Tees Development Corporation”.
