Section 1Citation and commencement
This Order may be cited as the Coroners and Justice Act 2009 (Alteration of Coroner Areas) Order 2017 and comes into force on 1st August 2017.

Section 2Combining of coroner areas
(1) In paragraph (2), “coroner area”, in relation to Central Lincolnshire and South Lincolnshire, means a coroner area specified in the Coroners and Justice Act 2009 (Coroner Areas and Assistant Coroners) Transitional Order 2013 .
(2) The coroner areas of Central Lincolnshire and South Lincolnshire are combined to create the coroner area named Lincolnshire.
