Section 1 Citation and commencement

These Regulations may be cited as the National Health Service (Dental Charges) (Amendment) Regulations 2018 and come into force on 1st April 2018.

Section 2 Amendment of the National Health Service (Dental Charges) Regulations 2005

(1) The National Health Service (Dental Charges) Regulations 2005 are amended as follows.

(2) In regulation 4 (calculations of charges)—

(a) in paragraph (1), for “£20.60” substitute “£21.60”;

(b) in paragraph (2), for “£56.30” substitute “£59.10”;

(c) in paragraph (3), for “£244.30” substitute “£256.50”;

(d) in paragraph (4), for “£244.30” substitute “£256.50”;

(e) in paragraph (5), for “£20.60” substitute “£21.60”.

(3) In regulation 12A (charges in respect of primary dental services provided under a prototype agreement), in paragraph (2), for “20.60” substitute “21.60”.
