These Regulations may be cited as the Care and Support (Charging and Assessment of Resources) (Amendment) Regulations 2018 and come into force on 9th July 2018.

Section 2Amendment of the Care and Support (Charging and Assessment of Resources) Regulations 2014
In Part 2 of Schedule 2 to the Care and Support (Charging and Assessment of Resources) Regulations 2014 (capital to be disregarded), after paragraph 35 insert—
(36) Any payment which would be disregarded under paragraph 73 of Schedule 10 to the Income Support Regulations (payments relating to disability caused by Thalidomide).
