These Regulations may be cited as the Northern Ireland (Extension of Period for Executive Formation) (No. 2) Regulations 2019 and come into force at 11.00 pm on 21st October 2019.

In section 1(1) of the Northern Ireland (Executive Formation and Exercise of Functions) Act 2018 (extension of period for Executive formation) , for “21 October 2019” substitute “13 January 2020”.
