Section 1 Citation, commencement and extent

(1) This Order may be cited as the Sanctions (Overseas Territories) (Amendment) Order 2019 and comes into force on 13th March 2019.

(2) This Order extends to the territories listed in Parts 1 and 2 of the Schedule, except for article 2 which extends to the territories listed in Part 1 of the Schedule.

Section 2 Lebanon and Syria (United Nations Measures) (Overseas Territories) Order 2006

In Schedule 1 of the Lebanon and Syria (United Nations Measures) (Overseas Territories) Order 2006 , omit “Bermuda”.

Section 3 Lebanon (United Nations Sanctions) (Overseas Territories) Order 2007

In Schedule 1 of the Lebanon (United Nations Sanctions) (Overseas Territories) Order 2007 , omit “Bermuda”.

Section 4 Libya (Restrictive Measures) (Overseas Territories) Order 2011

(1) The Libya (Restrictive Measures) (Overseas Territories) Order 2011 is amended as follows.

(2) In paragraph (5) of article 30, after “In this article “relevant person””, insert “, in respect of a relevant institution,”.

(3) In Schedule 1, omit “Bermuda”.

Section 5 Sanctions (Overseas Territories) (Amendment of Information Provisions) Order 2018

In article 8 of the Sanctions (Overseas Territories) (Amendment of Information Provisions) Order 2018 , paragraph (3) is omitted.
