Section 1 Citation and commencement

This Order may be cited as the Adjacent Waters Boundaries (Northern Ireland) (Amendment) Order 2020 and comes into force on 31st December 2020.

Section 2 Amendment to the Adjacent Waters Boundaries (Northern Ireland) Order 2002

(1) The Adjacent Waters Boundaries (Northern Ireland) Order 2002 is amended as follows.

(2) In article 3(3) (the boundary of the Northern Ireland zone)—

(a) before sub-paragraph (a) insert—

(za) follows the limit of the exclusive economic zone from the co-ordinate numbered 1 in the Schedule to the co-ordinate numbered 1A in the Schedule,

(b) in sub-paragraph (a)—

(i) at the beginning insert “then”;

(ii) for “1” substitute “1A”.

(3) In the Schedule (which lists co-ordinates)—

(a) after point 1, insert—

(b) omit points 2 to 6.
