Section 1Citation and commencement
This Order may be cited as the Veterinary Surgeons (Recognition of University Degree) (Surrey) Order of Council 2020 and comes into force on 18th February 2020.

Section 2Recognition of university degree
Anyone on whom the University of Surrey confers the degree of Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine and Science (BVMSci) is qualified to be a member of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons and is, on application in the manner and on payment of the fee prescribed by regulations of the Council of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons made under section 11 of the Veterinary Surgeons Act 1966 , entitled to be registered in the Register of Veterinary Surgeons and on so being registered becomes a member of that College.
