Section 1 Citation and commencement

(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Insolvency (Amendment) (EU Exit) Regulations 2020.

(2) These Regulations come into force immediately before IP completion day.

Section 2 Amendments to the Insolvency (Amendment) (EU Exit) Regulations 2019

The Insolvency (Amendment) (EU Exit) Regulations 2019 are amended as follows—

(a) in regulation 4—

(i) in paragraph (1) omit “Subject to regulation 5” and subparagraph (a),

(ii) for paragraph (2) substitute—

(2) The amendments made by these Regulations do not apply in respect of any insolvency proceedings and actions falling within Article 67(3)(c) of the withdrawal agreement.

(iii) omit paragraphs (3), (4) and (5);

(b) omit regulation 5.
