Section 1 Citation, commencement and interpretation

(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Health Protection (Coronavirus, International Travel) (England) (Amendment) (No. 7) Regulations 2020.

(2) These Regulations, apart from regulation 2(2)(b), come into force on 9th August 2020.

(3) Regulation 2(2)(b) comes into force at 4.00 a.m. on 11th August 2020.

(4) In these Regulations, “the principal Regulations” means the Health Protection (Coronavirus, International Travel) (England) Regulations 2020 .

Section 2 Amendment of the Health Protection (Coronavirus, International Travel) (England) Regulations 2020

(1) The principal Regulations are amended as follows.

(2) In Part 1 of Schedule A1 (exempt countries and territories)—

(a) omit the following entries—

Andorra

The Bahamas

Belgium

(b) insert the following entries at the appropriate place—

Brunei

Malaysia

Section 3 Transitional and saving provision

In relation to any person who arrived in England on or after 10th July but—

(a) before 9th August 2020, the principal Regulations apply as if the amendments made by regulation 2(2)(a) had not been made;

(b) before 4.00 a.m. on 11th August 2020, the principal Regulations apply as if the amendments made by regulation 2(2)(b) had not been made.
