Section 1 Citation and commencement

This Order may be cited as the Power to Award Degrees etc. (The Ashridge (Bonar Law Memorial) Trust) Order of Council 2014 (Amendment) Order 2020 and shall come into force on 1st September 2020.

Section 2 Variation of Power to Award Degrees etc. (The Ashridge (Bonar Law Memorial) Trust) Order of Council 2014

(1) The Power to Award Degrees etc. (The Ashridge (Bonar Law Memorial) Trust) Order of Council 2014 is varied in accordance with paragraph (2).

(2) For paragraph 2, substitute—

(2) The Ashridge (Bonar Law Memorial) Trust (also known as ‘Ashridge’) shall be competent to grant awards of the kind mentioned in paragraph (a) of section 76(2) of the said Act for a fixed seven- year term beginning on 1st September 2014 and expiring on 31st August 2021.
