Section 1 Citation, commencement and extent

(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Jobseeker’s Allowance and Employment and Support Allowance (Amendment) Regulations 2021 and come into force on 1st November 2021.

(2) Any amendment made by these Regulations has the same extent as the provision amended.

Section 2 Amendment of the Jobseeker’s Allowance Regulations 2013

In regulation 18 of the Jobseeker’s Allowance Regulations 2013 (general principles for calculating reduction periods) —

(a) in paragraph (1) for “paragraphs (3) and (4)” substitute “paragraph (3)”;

(b) omit paragraph (4).

Section 3 Amendment of the Employment and Support Allowance Regulations 2013

In regulation 51 of the Employment and Support Allowance Regulations 2013 (general principles for calculating reduction periods) —

(a) in paragraph (1) for “paragraphs (3) and (4)” substitute “paragraph (3)”;

(b) omit paragraph (4).
