Section 1 Citation, commencement and extent

These Regulations may be cited as the FLEGT Licensing Scheme (Council Regulation (EC) No 2173/2005 ) (Amendment) Regulations 2021 and come into force on the day after the day on which they are laid.

Section 2 Citation, commencement and extent

These Regulations extend to Great Britain only.

Section 3 Amendment of Council Regulation (EC) No 2173/2005

(1) Council Regulation (EC) No 2173/2005 on the establishment of a FLEGT licensing scheme for imports of timber into the European Community is amended as follows.

(2) In Article 1(3), after “partner countries”, insert “listed in Annex 1”.

(3) In Article 2—

(a) in paragraph 2, after “Agreement” insert “, as listed in Annex 1”;

(b) in paragraph 4, after “scheme” insert “, as listed in Annex 1”.

(4) Before Annex 2 insert—
