Section 1Citation, commencement and extent

(1) This Order may be cited as the Street Works (Charges for Occupation of the Highway) (Surrey County Council) Order 2021.
(2) This Order extends to England and Wales.
(3) This Order shall come into force on 1st April 2021.

Section 2Approval of local highway authority

The Secretary of State approves Surrey County Council for the purpose of requiring charges to be paid under the Street Works (Charges for Occupation of the Highway) (England) Regulations 2012 in accordance with the Surrey Lane Rental Scheme which was submitted to the Secretary of State on 10th December 2020 and approved by him.
